#shotoniphone

Mobile photography has been my go-to for storytelling medidation If I ever want to take a break from journalism.

After getting a GR I won't be shooting with my phone as often.

This page is a tribute to the most flexible visual storytelling tool I've ever had.

Silhouettes

Partially due to the limited dynamic range, silhouettes tend to be my comfort zone when capturing images with my phone.

There is something inherently inviting about that simplicity lying between the light and the dark.

Black and White

One of my favourite aspects of mobile photography is having different texture at my fingertips.

Sometimes it just makes sense using it as an analog film camera.

People

Public streets can be overwhelming for the sheer volume of visual information they offer on the fly, but the center of my images always seems to be people.

Interpretive Eye

Flexibility is important.

These are moments when my phone becomes not just the best camera I have with me.

But my best camera period.
